KEEPING HISTORY ALIVE:
Honoring the Heroes and Lessons of WWII
The Central Pennsylvania WWII Roundtable is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories and lessons of World War II. We provide a welcoming forum for WWII veterans, authors, historians, and anyone with an interest in this pivotal period of history. By fostering a space for open discussion and learning, we aim to deepen the public’s understanding of the war and honor the experiences of those who lived through it.
Our monthly meetings serve as the heart of our organization. Held at Grace United Methodist Church in Hummelstown, these gatherings are free of charge and open to all—no membership is required. Each meeting features engaging guest speakers, many of whom are WWII veterans and renowned authors, who share their unique perspectives on various aspects of the war. Attendees can expect thought-provoking presentations that cover a wide range of topics, from personal wartime experiences to in-depth historical analysis.

The Roundtable is proud of its vibrant community, which regularly draws between 150 and 350 attendees per session. This diverse group includes veterans, scholars, history enthusiasts, and curious citizens, all united by a shared interest in learning about and remembering the sacrifices and achievements of those involved in WWII. The interactive nature of our meetings allows participants to ask questions, exchange ideas, and gain new insights from one another.
Whether you’re a lifelong student of history or someone just beginning to explore WWII, we welcome you to join us. Come and be part of a community dedicated to keeping history alive, honoring the past, and fostering a deeper understanding of the world we live in today. If you have any questions or would like more information, don’t hesitate to contact us or attend our next meeting.
